Designed for the Standard 2-hole truss rod cover (see S/N and sizing information below), this elegant accessory is available in Brass or Nickel. Sizing
Please note that Taylor used the short two-hole cover until September of 2003 and then changed to a slightly longer (“standard”) cover. This change started on September 17, 2003. Guitars with serial number 20030917xxx (2003 = year and 0917 = month and day) or later use the standard cover and if built before this date, use the short cover.
If you’re not sure or want to confirm anyway, you can measure the distance between the screw holes. Standard/long is 1.8” (1-51/64” or 4.57 cm) and short is 1.65” (1-21/32” or 4.19 cm)
This is an aftermarket, decorative replacement part and not from the original equipment manufacturer.
